2025 dirt nationals update—
Friday was qualifying and heats, we qualified 5th and set out for our heat race starting in 3rd, after a few laps we dropped back to 5th and finished there. I wanted some more seat time we we opted to race the “basset fastest qualifier race” in which they take the top 4 fastest out of each 4 divisions and run them 25 laps for a set of rims, one of drivers in my division opted out so we took his spot. We seemed to have a good car but struggled with a tight car half way through. Ended up finishing P7 out of 16 cars.
Saturday I knew I needed to make some different adjustments, so with the help of Andrew Jochim we threw some stuff together for hot laps and the car was better but still not where we wanted it, after watching the track we went back to our pits and changed a few more things and just sat and mentally prepared for our 30 lap feature. I hit the track with confidence and after a few laps the car felt awesome and I knew I had something good here. But only 12 laps in the car started spitting and sputtering, we held it to the boards hoping it would make it to finish 30 laps. It didn’t take long and we started dropping back and with only 7 laps to go the motor expired, ending our night.
We struggled all weekend at a track we normally have very good luck at, but the cards weren’t in our favor this weekend. A disappointing end to the season but that’s the way racing goes!
We should have secured 4th in pro for national points!
I truly have the greatest friends and family and am forever grateful for everyone that shows up to the track to support us and those of you that support us online from back home!
We are also thankful for all of our great sponsors that allow me to do what I love to do!

We also want to congratulate all of our great friends that competed in dirt nationals also. We have friends in all 4 classes (young lion, semi pro, master and pro)
We truly have the GREATEST drivers in the nation that we race with on a weekly basis. Most nights we all stand around after the races and BS and share “beverages” for those that are old enough anyways.
We will rest and re coup in the off season and come back stronger in 2026!
See you all next spring.
