Don't assume you're belt-free just because the engine is driven by a timing chain.
Some engines have a hidden oil pump drive belt that runs behind the timing chain system. Because these belts operate in engine oil, they experience constant exposure to heat cycles and breakdown over time. A worn oil pump drive belt can shed material into the oil, potentially affecting flow and pressure. It's worth inspecting these components while access is available.
