Sunday shop pics. Lots and lots of stuff going on as we approach the end of 2023. Starting to look like we only work on First Gen Camaro’s around here. We have 5 in the shop at the moment. FOR SALE!!!! We currently just turned 2k miles on this car since completing. We took it to the Triple Crown of Rodding show in Tennessee the day after we completed it a few months ago and it has had its pics taken for it to be in a major auto magazine in the very near future. Now it’s time to list the car for sale and start our latest shop build. If you have not followed along with this build from the beginning it is one hell of a car. Absolutely nothing but the best of the best parts were used. It is a very high quality full build from top to bottom less paint and bodywork. 1969 Chevy Nova. It’s a true 40k original mile car with a killer patina. This car is powered by a GM Performance LS3 dressed as a big block. It has a tremec TKX 5 speed and narrowed 9”rear. Full Detroit Speed suspension from front to rear. This car handles amazing. It has 18x8.5 and 19x11 Billet Specialties, Inc. motor city wheels and the original dog dish hubcaps that came with the car. It has vintage ac and Dakota digital gauges. All new interior. We have pics and videos of the build from day one. This is not a cheap and slapped together build. There is a fortune in parts and hundreds and hundreds of hours in labor into building this car. It was a blast putting some test miles on this F100 build a few months ago. The Gen3 coyote, tremec tkx 5 speed and a Roadster Shop spec chassis and a set of Billet Specialties, Inc. wheels is the perfect combo. The owner is in love with this truck and so are we. Today marks the shops 3 year anniversary. To this day 3 years ago John and Mark decided to start and open Steeltown Garage. With lots and lots of hard work getting the shop together, lots of planning and money spent we set out to build one of the premier hotrod shops in the area. With both business partners on board with a business plan to give customers exactly what they paid for, for the customer to receive highest quality level service and for us to be absolutely honest and upfront with everyone of our customers. Qualities that many many other shops in the same industry lack. We have heard way way to many horror stories in the past and that’s something we both felt strongly about not letting happen. Here we are 3 years later. We have come so so far and made so many people’s dreams come true. Thanks to all our great customers and employees that helped build the business we have today. Thanks to all our new friends we have made, other shops we have friended and all of the great vendors that have helped us along our journey. We have definitely made big big waves in the aftermarket automotive industry and lots of major companies have noticed us and what we have going on. Here are some pics of when it all started and the last pic is the shop as of today. It’s absolutely jammed packed and we have no room for any more vehicles in the shop. We are stocked up on Brand New GM Performance crate engines. LS3 Long Blocks 430hp and the hot cammed 495hp and 525hp are in stock again. We also stock the complete LS3 430hp engines and a have complete connect and cruise packages in stock or available. We also stock several GM transmissions as well.
