Southern Tier Harley-Davidson® opened its doors in 1983 at 1149 Front Street (where Aldi’s is currently located). After 10 years at that location STHD moved in April of 1993 to its current location. In April of 1996 the business was sold to one of its two current owners. Several years later a new partner was brought into the dealership. STHD has been expanded several times over the years both up a
nd out, with the latest renovation being completed over the winter of 2013. STHD is at the maximum capacity for lot size but we continue to grow inside! STHD employs about 20 people in the dealership. With several long term employees, we have a lot of experience in all our departments. Our departments include motorcycle sales, service, parts, MotorClothes®, rentals and we even run a MSF basic rider course from our location. STHD has earned several awards from H-D® Motor Company over its course of business. They include promoter of the year twice, Gold Bar & Shield twice (Circle of Excellence) along with Silver and Bronze Bar & Shield several times. STHD has been number one in our district for several consecutive months for our customer service scores based on new motorcycle sales experience.
