Are you more of a DIY detailer?
Here are some products to use and the ones to run from at Walmart.
Walmart has plenty of good detailing products to use.
The good
#1. I’d recommend grabbing anything from Suds Labs. I’ve used them in a pinch when my local
Supplier is out of my normal chemicals. Fairly priced and good quality.
#2. Adams Polish. This is a major detailing brand and many professional shops use them. But tend to be a bit pricey and not any better than suds labs.
#3. Meguiars. They have been around for a long time, good quality, love the tire cleaner. Can get a little gimmicky like the wipes, but over all a good diy products.
#4. The bulk commercial grade yellow microfiber towels. These are my go to interior towels. Can be used on anything interior. Not great for exterior.
#5. Auto fiber products. They are ok exterior products. Good for your every day grocery getter. But I would avoid on more high end vehicles.
#6. Most of the diy head light restoration kits work well. Longevity can vary, but follow directions and you’ll be ok. (Expect chemical guys)
The bad.
#1. Stay away from anything chemical guys. It is over priced, watered down and gimmicky! Run away from anything with that logo.
#1.1. Run from anything armorall. These are terrible products and will probably leave your car covered in an oily mess. run away!
#2 jay Leno, Red Bull, turtle wax and black magic are all over priced or just not good chemicals to use.
#3. Did I mention chemical guys are armorall are terrible and over priced?!
(This is all my own opinion from years in the business. Be sure to read directions and use products at your own risk)
