At My Town CDJR, sales are booming and we are hiring now for Sales Consultants to keep up with consumer demand! We are a growing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealership here in Big Stone Gap, VA. Your efforts are rewarded with a strong compensation plan, strong benefits, and ongoing training to ensure your success!
Prior automotive sales experience is not necessary. Great salespeople have come from different backgrounds: Industrial or manufacturing sales, general sales, retail sales, insurance sales, or rental car associates, to name a few. We will train the right candidates for the exciting field of auto sales!
Sales Consultant – Job Description:
The Sales Consultant position will include New and Used Automotive Sales and Leasing.
Sales Consultant - Job Responsibilities:
Determine each customer's vehicle needs and wants by asking questions and listening.
Demonstrate vehicles including test drives.
Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc.
Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
Introduce customers to Service Department personnel for future maintenance and service.
Sales Consultant - Requirements:
Sales experience in other industries is highly preferred
Prior auto sales experience is a plus, but not required
Must have excellent customer service skills
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid in-state driver's license and good driving record
Excellent communication skills, written and oral
Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a Virginia Salesperson License from the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board (MVDB)
