The 49er Festival is September 20 and the countdown begins. Starting today, we will share details about the vendors, community service organizations, stage activities, entertainment, and more that you will be able to enjoy.

So let's begin with the Mud Pie Eating Contest (It's not really pie made out of mud but chocolate pudding with ground oreo cookies and whipped cream).

Four categories, age breakouts are shown in the graphics below, and you must pre-reigster by calling 209 962 7784 (yes, that's the Miller Brothers Shop and, yes, they are the brains behind the contest.)

It's sure to be fun, crazy, and pretty darn messy. Get ready! Oh...and pass the word!
