Carroll Shelby owned this car until his death, the title is still under Shelby’s name, was the last car he beat Ferrari with, was the fastest 0 to 100klm per hour Shelby car he ever built.
There is a series made called Carroll Shelby, King, of the Road in episode 2 you can see that development of the car and also the race at the Las Vegas Speedway Track, where it beat the track Ferrari Lamborghini version and another exotics, by doing a amazing lap time of only 56 seconds. It beating Ferrari and all the other cars by over four Seconds.
Also, there is a movie in the works about Carroll Shelby’s Life. When The Movie is produce and is released. This car will come out in the movie or a replica of this car and is going to play a very important role in the movie because that is how the movie is gonna end on the track. Carroll Shelby beating Ferrari again for the last time after 40 years, because a few months later Carroll Shelby passes away on May 10, 2012. Also, this car is the most photographed and interviewed Shelby car together with Carroll Shelby.
This car was very significant and special to Carroll Shelby. This is why he never sold it. He actually had a private jet that he had blue stripes made on the side of his jet to match the car.
Also, when he passed away the cars that they chose to showed out of over 20,000. Cars he built was his very first Cobra, the blue one CSX 2000 and they showed him standing next to this car because this was his last masterpiece the last Concept Shelby car that he was directly involved in developing before he passed away.
