Veit's Vettes & Collector Cars

Veit's Vettes & Collector Cars We deal primarily in specialty cars, collector cars, award winning original automotbiles, show stoppi We scour the country for those rare gems. But that's ok.

Our cars are specialty cars ... collector cars... award-winning original automobiles... show-stopping restored autos... and newer Highline Specialty cars! That beautiful Corvette, or Chevy, Ford, Pontiac, Mopar Muscle Car, Restomod, Pro Touring classic, maybe a Survivor that makes you just burst with pride. How about those rare one-offs or super limited production models or the fun micro cars, eve

n the heavy iron cruisers, or sporty modern styles all the way to exotic cars? We can find anything! We have collectors all over the world that offer to sell us these cars. In fact, that’s how we get most of our cars, from collectors. We avoid auctions whenever possible because we know that’s where sellers take their misrepresented headaches, and problem cars they can't sell locally. But when you sell cars of the quality we do, at a price we hope is competitive, as we try to always do, the buying and inventorying becomes particularly hard. We peruse car clubs, newspapers, and word of mouth everywhere we go. It's not at all unusual to drive hours out of our way, to look at 1 car. Sometimes, that drive is really worth it. Small towns can have rare gems. You have to look at a lot of cars, in order to buy only a few. That's a lot of crawling in and under to find the right stuff. We're fussy – because our customers expect it of us. They rely on that. Many of our clients are repeat buyers. They already are lucky enough to have 1 or more "toys" purchased from us. Sometimes they want to add to their collection, sometimes they just want a different one to play with, or they want to trade. Whatever, their reason, we've got the answer. We've got the investment car. You can drive ours right off the floor and enjoy a day in the sun or take them to a car show, with pride. Lots of our cars have won trophies, regionally and nationally for their new owners. Of course, we get walk-in sellers too. Someone has a car they have grown tired of, or perhaps they inherited a car they really don't want. Perhaps they just need the money. If that's a specialty car - if it's been lovingly cared for, and is either a collector car, a muscle car, an exotic car, a hot rod, a classic, a foreign car, or an antique automobile - be it a sedan convertible, T-top, Targa top, hard top, coupe, convertible or roadster...we're interested. Our customers come from all walks of life and all parts of the world. Most of the time a new client can't physically come to inspect a particular car. That's ok, we'll walk around it and describe it to them, over the telephone and or via Facetime. We have a reputation for giving only honest information when describing our beauties without leaving anything out. We do have some customers that leave disappointed....Sometimes a customer wants a 'fixer-upper". Sorry, we simply don't carry those. We don't have those "Winter Projects". The closest we can come to that is a show-worthy, drivable, almost perfect car that someone wants to make into a totally flawless show-stopper. It will never be allowed to get dusty - not even the engine. Those buyers will feel like they're in a candy store. It is our top priority as collectors, to describe all of our vehicles accurately, and to the best of our ability. Even though we scrutinize each car before we buy it, we resell cars, we do not restore or warranty them. Therefore we cannot guarantee any of the claims made by previous owners, their agents, or consigners. We recommend that any individual, contemplating purchasing any used car or collector car- from us or anyone else - either inspect it themselves or send a trustworthy individual, to verify that it’s description is accurate. If you have trouble locating such an individual, we will be happy to recommend an impartial, unaffiliated individual or firm to assist you. Okay, you've dreamt about the car you saw here. You can afford it. You can't stand it - you just gotta have it. But now what? You don't want to drive it all the way home. We'll either ship it to you ourselves or arrange for shipment via a major enclosed car shipper. These shippers do nothing else but ship cars - of all price ranges. They're good, dependable, careful, and fully insured. Drivers tell us constantly how cars being delivered, from other sellers, often bring tears of regret to the new owners. But when they ship OUR cars, the proud new owners are never disappointed!!!! We get phone calls all the time, from our clients telling us their joy at the car being just what we said it was. 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Monospecchio

1986 Ferrari Testarossa Flying mirror (or Monospecchio). Believed to be 1 of only 300 units imported to the US. Finished in the iconic "Rosso Corsa" over tan leather interior, combined with red carpeting. Powered by Ferrari's 4.9-liter flat-12 cylinder engine featuring Bosch KE-Jetronic fuel injection and dry-sump lubrication, the Testarossa was factory rated at an impressive 380 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through the standard 5-speed gated manual transmission. This example shows just 19,280 miles and is accompanied by detailed service records from its last caretaker, the original owner's manual and Ferrari books, factory roll-up tool kit, scissor jack, wheel knock-off tool and other miscellaneous equipment seen via the photos. This beautiful Pininfarina-designed body is highlighted by its signature side strakes, pop-up headlights, wide rear track, and aggressive wedge-shaped styling that made the Testarossa one of the most recognizable Ferraris ever produced. Factory equipment includes four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, independent front and rear suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, limited-slip differential, air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors, leather seating surfaces, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. This Ferrari rides on polished 16-inch Cromodora five-spoke alloy wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires ordered in August of 2025. Tire sizes are 225/50ZR16 in the front and 255/50ZR16 in the rear. Due to the limited availability of tires for the original wheel configuration in the United States, the car was upgraded to the Cromodora wheel setup which, in my opinion, far surpasses the look of the original wheels and gives the car additional character. For those who prefer originality, all four OEM Ferrari wheels are included with the sale. Just as importantly, this Testarossa has received the level of maintenance these cars deserve. An engine-out major service was performed at 19,201 miles, while the clutch was replaced in 2020. More recent servicing includes replacement of the smog pump and belt, a fresh oil and filter service, installation of a new A/C belt, and conversion of the air conditioning system to R134A refrigerant. With extensive service documentation, factory books, receipts and tools, and just 19,280 miles showing!!! This Testarossa offers the kind of ownership history and maintenance pedigree that knowledgeable Ferrari enthusiasts look for.

1978 Chevrolet Corvette

'78 CORVETTE COUPE -This 1978 Chevrolet Corvette shows just 9,308 ORIGINAL MILES!!! And remains remarkably original throughout, retaining its factory Red-on-Red color combination. The trim tag confirms paint code 72L and interior trim code 722. To preserve its appearance, the car received one documented professional repaint in its original factory color. The finish presents exceptionally, in fact, this is the nicest body and paint (everything) we've ever seen on a late 70's era Corvette. From its remarkably smooth body and paint, to the outstanding shine, and rich depth. The car truly embodies a time capsule Corvette. Power comes from the optional L-82 350 cubic-inch V8 featuring a Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, hydraulic camshaft, four-bolt main block, dual-snorkel air cleaner, and dual exhaust system with stainless tips. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Factory equipment includes a fiberglass body, removable T-top roof panels, four-wheel independent suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, leather bucket seats, iconic 70's carpeted interior, full instrumentation package, quartz clock, tilt steering wheel, dual sport mirrors, hidden windshield wipers, rear storage compartment, courtesy lighting, power windows, and air conditioning. Additional features include an aftermarket AM/FM radio with a retro appearance, red-striped aluminum wheels, and raised white-letter radial tires measuring 255/60R15 at all four corners. Finished in one of the most recognizable color combinations available for 1978. We've owned hundreds of C3 Corvettes over the years, and this is honestly the cleanest and overall prettiest 1978 we've had through our doors. It runs and drives exceptionally well, and the overall presentation is astonishing. The repaint was clearly applied by an expert or a wizard ;-) Looking at the car in person, you'd be hard-pressed to believe it has much more than a few hundred miles.
