Folks....I'm out. Two torn rotator cuffs, no desire for surgery (no insurance, and 2 buddies on permanent disability due to botched surgeries), retired, and have enough on my plate to keep me busy for the rest of my life....however long that may be. I have enjoyed helping folks along their journey towards their dream Z car in my 42 years of service. I'm not perfect, by any stretch,, and dealing with 50+ year old cars, so I make bad decisions sometimes. Is what it is. But, I have strived to make each customer happy to the best of my ability, regardless. Frankly, my ability has "left the building" physically, and the struggle to keep customers happy has become unattainable due to my inability to actually work reliably. My apologies to all. I will still be available for questions/advice to my previous, and potential future customers, but the time has come to pull the plug on any future endeavors at the Z.I.P. shop. Been a great run, but time to focus on family and life at 59 1/2. This page will be taken down in the next couple weeks. Thanks again to all that patronized my passion - I thank you all from the very bottom of my heart!!! Prost!!

Hello all! I am back and taking new appointments. 70-78 preferred, but I will dabble in the 79-83 models as well. Brakes, suspension, tuning, motor rebuilds, performance enhancements etc. Feel free to message me with your needs!

Folks - with the rising prices of everything around us (and the fact that I've been WAY under-charging) labor rates are now going to $75/hr. as of 1/1/2022. It was a hard decision to make, but a long overdue one. I'm still backed up at least 6 months out, so be patient - we'll get to your baby soon. Happy New Year everyone!

Another heart transplant (and 5 speed conversion) complete! All in one weekend. What a ride... congrats Moores!! 336 miles to your home. Hope you are safe brother, and she gets you to the destination!!

Another 'heart transplant' patient going home tomorrow to burn up the asphalt! This is one a serious nice near stock Series 1 that hasn't seen the road for 35+ years. This was his dads car. Dad had a stroke, and son took it upon himself to totally refurbish the car over the years. Dad put the motor together before his stroke and was off a bunch on the timing chain, and bent 3 valves. Last time son was in this car was when he was about 11. He just turned 50 a couple months ago, and is beyond ecstatic to actually drive it now! Great story!!

Have a broken crank and a L28 block with a hole through the side of it if anyone wants it for 'artwork' - block makes a great wine holder. Come 'n get it!
