Anybody know anything about viscous limited slip diffs?
Is a 3.5% (1”ish”) diameter difference going to roast one and how quickly? 200 miles home, 600 to Chicago. No idea if I can find tires where we are.

Taryn and I are 1/4 of the way to Chicago and got a wicked puncture. Full size spare is a different size. 😣

Tire blankets round two! These puppies do a fantastic job of keeping TONS the heat in a tire between track sessions or autocross/touge runs even when it’s hovering near freezing, saving heat cycles and keeping things safer and faster out of the gate. For about $30 in materials and an hour or so of labor time, I think they’re pretty worthwhile.
The previous set I made fit all my 17” wheels on the Caprice and WRX, these are for my 15” Miata wheels.

Glad I got the chance to cut laps at Heartland with .ss Nationals last summer. Bummer to lose such a great track, even if it was 1,200 miles away…..
