Decided to make the 5.5 hour trip up to Minnesota for the 1st Giant Wing Nationals started out okay, qualified 2nd quick! Which is pretty impressive when the top 5 qualifiers were all at least 8 years old, and I was the only 6 year old in the top 5. I was the fastest all night between all the heats & the dash! Ended up with the 3rd fastest lap in the feature! Speed was there, just gotta make better decisions when other people are in front of me to save myself instead of taking myself out 😅🫣 Mom & Dad say it will come with age and of course more seat time!

So far this year since we’ve been outdoors, we’ve had pretty good luck…. That ended last night 🫣

Spun out in the dash while in 2nd, stopped on the track, was told by the officials to keep going, by that time I was almost getting lapped by the rest of the field ended up finishing 6th out of 6th. (but I didn’t get lapped 🙃)

Started the feature in 6th worked my way up to 3rd before I je**ed the wheel and hit the brakes causing myself to spin out, while I was sideways I got T-Boned HAAAARRRDDDD by another kart. Ended up completing the race and finished 11th, definitely not what we had hoped for, but racing is a very humbling sport, anything can happen, and now it’s time to get broken parts fixed, dial the kart back in and get back at it for the next race.

Ended up with a nice bruise on my leg from the steering shaft, and a sore neck. Overall my equipment kept me safe and allowed me to finish the race even with kart being out of whack.

Pulled back in the driveway this morning at 6:15am! 😴😴😴

Last day/night of AJC Illinois Speed Week is done! We travelled to Spoon River BIG TRACK today to run the 3/8 mile!

It was a HOT one but the bigger tracks running karts are always neat to be apart of!

Ended up pulling off the win for the big money race & brought home $300! 🤑

Congrats to my buddy Bashin Ashton on his first Rbox win today!

Ended up today as we had to put our dog down this morning before we left for the track, so I’m glad I could pull off a win! 🏆❤️

Overall had a decent 4 days of racing AJC and was happy to have the chance to be apart of the Speed Week!

Another night of AJC Illinois Speed Week is done! We travelled to Spoon River Kart Track last night for Day 3 of the week, thankfully we were able to make it after English Creek cancelled, cause previously we had full intentions of running English Creek and missing Day 3 of Speed Week.

Ended up sweeping both the Regular & Pro Restricted Box Stock classes! 🧹

Overall had a goodnight hanging out with all my friends at my track per usual (that’s my favorite thing about the races 🤪)

And then to top it off I got to have a sleepover with my buddy Krew —— to celebrate us both winning our pro classes! 🤑

Spent 2 nights at Viola this week, Friday for the figure 8 —— I even got to countdown 3, 2, 1, to start quite a few of the figure 8 races Friday night with my buddies so that was neat! & then Saturday was my turn to race!

Another night of Viola racing —— & ANOTHER clean sweep! 🧹

I liked not having to be the first race out this time, it gave more of an idea of where to go for set up.

Viola Boyz Memorial Day Race 2026 🇺🇸

Had a tough time tonight being the first class out to race after they did track prep in between each heat, didn’t give much of an idea on where to go or what to do for the feature. Dad did what he thought was right and hoped for the best!

Started the feature in 2nd and ended the feature in 2nd! 🥈
