In discussions with Chevrolet, there was some question whether they should test a car with the Carbon Fiber Aero package or without the big wing.

In the end, Chevy decided the time gained in braking (thanks, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires) more than offset the loss in acceleration to 150 mph. But to 200 mph, it’s the other way around.
