Highlight of the weekend was taking Blue out on the Watkins Glen international speedway. Seven of us piled in the van for 3 laps with Donovan as my co-pilot. I grabbed this screenshot of us from the official track Instagram stories.

I have a question about my 2.5 swap. I have an 06 Forester motor in an 89 vanagon, naturally aspirated. I am being regulated, I assume by the pcm, to no more than 4000 rpm. The throttle will pulse and you cannot get past it. What could cause this? The speed sensor and obd2 were not working. Rewired a new diagnostic port and replaced the speed sensor. Both are working now. Also the drive by wire throttle body stopped operating well and have just replaced it. Tps is working correctly again. I had read somewhere that a faulty speed sensor would cause the pcm to regulate the engine speed to no more than 4000rpm but this at least is not the issue as far as I can tell.

Bonus question: I have a .49 amp parasitic draw. It would appear to be coming from pcm1 fuse in the engine bay. What exactly does this circuit do?

Almost finished wood and steel bed for the . Seeing it's first rain. I plan on mostly parking this inside and using it to deliver furniture. Will build the sides and back later but this will provide me with lots of tie down options and more overall space compared to the rusty old truck bed.
