Not to sound like a broken record...but regular Maintenance is one of the most important parts of owning an off-road vehicle! Oil changes, brakes, air filters, other model specific oils, and of course tires too! We can help you along the way if you prefer to do your own maintenance, or we can set you up with an appointment for us to take care of it for you!
When maintenances aren’t performed as required/suggested by the manufacturer, there is a high risk of issues with your ride...that could go as far as engine seizure (trust me, we have one in the shop currently...look a few posts down for pictures).
We keep our shop rates lower than other shops around and we keep you INFORMED of what will be done to your ride and approximately how much it will cost before we ever spend a dime on parts! No crazy surprise invoices here! We don’t like surprise and don’t expect our customers to either!
We plan on being open as long as it is safe to drive to the shop this week because we know our customers may need some help and we want to be there for you! I want to add to this a little.

If you’re looking for a small bike or ATV for your kid, look it over thoroughly. We picked this one up in Cadiz. The last owner(s) kept it serviced but things like the brakes, chain, tires, cables, and even the swingarm itself were “let go” when the kid stopped riding it. Someone backed into it hard enough to flex the swingarm. I got a used one off eBay with new bearings for $60. The brakes and cables were just replaced and I freed up the pins in the brake drums. Not a big deal but your kid is going to have a hard enough time getting used to the bike if everything works right. You don’t want them on one with no brakes, hanging brakes, and especially not a sticking throttle!

Don’t always take peoples word for it. There’s a lot of junk floating around and when they realize what they bought, it hits marketplace. I’ve seen some that looked like junk and mechanically, perfect. I’ve seen others that look new, run like new, and the frame itself be bent. It really is junk at that point and the seller might not even know there’s anything wrong. I guarantee they won’t admit it. I looked at a Banshee once with a bent frame. I knew it as soon as I took off because I had bent one in the same area. I stood it up on the grab bar to show the guy and his chin dropped. Mine did too because the guy before him had it powder coated AFTER he bent it!

It doesn’t take long to go through one of these. An hour or two labor and parts will take care of almost anything chain/sprocket/bearing/brake/suspension wise.

Babies need love too! I’ve seen so many of these that would’ve been fine with an oil AND filter change, clean gas, the air filter exist and preferably be clean. These little motors will run forever with a little upkeep.

Emissions standards are getting more and more strict. The 2021 YFZ450R can’t be sold in California. My guess is they change to the WR motor or end the line pretty soon... For a stretch, the YFZ, YZ, and WR all had basically the same motor. The YFZ stopped evolving when it was the last true sport quad available new.

With that said, the MT-07 got an emissions accessory for 2021. They added another converter right out of the head. I’m not sure if the ECU program changed but every thing they do to cork a fuel injected motor makes it that much harder to un-cork ($$).

2020 looks like the last year to get a “lightly” corked MT-07. We have one that’s all but new with 666 miles. It’s flawless. Get one while you can still find one in this shape!

The only fees over our prices are what the state & bank charge!

This is a seizure. This happens when you run low on oil and keep going. In this case, it’s a piston, ring set, wrist pin, clips, a new sleeve ($300), full gasket kit, AND a new lower rod bearing which means the motor not only has to come completely apart, it has to come out to come apart...then you add in the cost of Labor!
It seems like people ignore their oil worse on SXS’s that are twice as hard to work on and twin cylinders have twice as many parts. Maintenance is just as important on your off-road vehicles as it is with your on-road vehicles!
Full synthetic (recommended) kits cost ~$52 for Polaris Side by Sides and we have them in stock. Non-synthetic 10w40 is $7.95 a liter plus a $10 filter. That plus an hour of your time (or mine).

We can’t brag enough on these chargers.

They cover EVERY battery including lithium ion. They come with a set of clamps and pigtails so you can use it on everything without having to buy pigtails for everything. These will actually charge where most only maintain a battery.
