Back from the dead. 2013 LML duramax CP4 failure. It received a CP4 to CP3 conversion and disaster kit as well as an AirDog by PureFlow Technologies, Inc. from Lincoln Diesel Specialties. They have awesome tech and customer service. Also had to source a couple parts from Dmaxstore.

Doing some more 7.3 work. Customer didn’t not like the high EGTs and performance of this turbo. The Exhaust Back Pressure Valve was removed, but the factory pedestal was still installed. We replaced the factory pedestal with one from KC Turbos with one of their KC300x G3 stage 1 Turbos. Then tuned the engine with a Hydra chip from JeliBuilt Performance, LLC. Both of these companies have great customer service and have been awesome to deal with.

Fans running constantly on 2010 F-150, no A/C and a Check Engine Light for Cylinder Head Temp Sensor. A squirrel thought it was the perfect home under the intake, expect for that one wire in the way. New lower intake gaskets, and some wiring repair has this one back in the road.

Mobile mechanic call out. Usually we’d go to the offroad park to fix a rig, but today it was at the state park camp ground. These newer 5.3s are known for the coolant temp sensor failing and or wire damage at the plug. This will cause the engine fan to run at full rpm and stay on for a while after the engine is shutdown. This truck has had 2 aftermarket sensors installed within the last 10 months. Wiring is good, so an OEM sensor was installed.

2008 suburban in the shop. It came in with new brake pads, but the brakes were still making noise. So we smoothed out the rotors. The radiator was cracked so we swapped that out. The dash on this truck had multiple lights on. Airbag, ABS, Stabilitrak, and the check engine light.The oil pressure gauge was reading zero, very common on these trucks. We swapped out the sensor and screen. Found an unplugged sensor for the airbag. Replaced a wheel speed sensor for ABS. Plugged a tire and changed the oil.
