For those out there being directed to body shops by your insurance company, you have the right to choose where your vehicle gets repaired. As per Michigan law, insurance companies cannot dictate which body shop you must use for vehicle repairs. Walsh Body Shop has been around since 1952 we are an independent shop. We offer expert services without insurance influence. We do not work for the insurance company, we work for you. We work with all insurance companies. Unlike preferred shops they give the insurance companies discounts for work, we don't work for insurance companies we give the customers discounts. The preferred shops are weeks out to simply complete an estimate. We currently have open spots. Our staff is here to help. We will complete the estimate for repairs and submit it along with photos to your insurance company. No appointment necessary. Once you are scheduled to come in, we will have the parts waiting for your vehicle. We will keep you informed when we find hidden damage and update you on the status.
