LAPS TRACK DAYS

LAPS TRACK DAYS The midwest's premiere car club. Great cars, great tracks, great people. Plus you usually get 2.5-3 hours of track time per event.

With LAPS we're very lucky to have so many great members that are fun, talented and willing to share their experience to help others grow and develop their skills more quickly. What we have found is if you take the time to get to know the people that you're driving with you will find a new pleasure in your track days. Not only will you be excited to get out on the track and try out your new tires,

brakes, suspension, or new skills learned in the off season, but you'll be excited to see your friends and make new ones. Catching up, offering assistance, or just enjoying someones company can become a significant part of your track day experience. It's always nice to see familiar faces and feel comfortable when taking a day out of your busy schedule to do something you enjoy. We have different pricing available in a tier format which allows you to sign up for all or just pick and choose individual dates you'd like to participate in. Our Pricing is very competitive!

We've only seen five examples of the 1977 Mercury Marquis here on Barn Finds over the years. The seller has this "Tu-Tone" 2-door posted here on craigslist in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, right across the St. Lawrence River from Montreal, and they're asking $16,200, which equates to $11,545 U.S. dolla...

With its stacked headlights, new squarish styling, and those upward curving taillights, I always thought the 1963 Pontiac was an extremely good-looking car. Here's something you don't see every day: a 63-year-old car still in the possession of its original owner. It's been in a barn gathering dust t...

The Willys-Overland Jeepster definitely goes under the "Quirky Misfire" category. I remember the first one I saw as a kid back in the early '60s. The front end looked like a Jeep, but the rest of it, a 2-door, six passenger Phaeton convertible with no roll-up windows, would've fit in at my uncle's s...

Shiny and apparently well-kept, this 1997 Ford Thunderbird LX may be the bargain of the week with its asking price of $2400. Despite covering over 180,000 miles, it shows well inside and out and the seller says, "everything works." It may seem humorous to see these 15 inch rollers on a premium luxur...

Rarity and low-mileage claims can be a slippery slope if the seller doesn't provide supporting evidence. Such is the case with this 1986 Ford Mustang LX Convertible. The seller indicates that the odometer reading of 6,500 miles is genuine without mentioning documentation. Therefore, the figure must....

We've seen a few desirable classics at Barn Finds where an owner has purchased the vehicle, and circumstances have resulted in it being stored for years with only a few miles on the clock. Such is the case with this 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1. The original owner passed away when the car had 450 mi...

Choosing to part with a classic that has been part of your family since leaving the lot sixty years ago is a tough call, but it is one made by the owner of this 1966 Ford Mustang. It is a largely unmolested classic featuring a V8 under the hood. It needs some panel and paint...

Through most of the 1950s, the Special was Buick’s entry-level full-size automobile. The name was temporarily mothballed in 1959 only to return in 1961 as the GM division’s new “senior” compact (along with the Pontiac Tempest and Oldsmobile F85). The car would continue in this role until 196...

I'm sure that virtually every enthusiast dreams of the day when they open the door of a shed or barn to discover a desirable classic sitting in the darkness, awaiting the moment when someone releases it from captivity. Such is the story behind this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. It has hiberna...

During the 1970s and 1980s, it was almost impossible not to see a Checker Taxi running around in major metropolitan cities. But also during this period, a consumer-oriented version, the A-12 (or Marathon), was also available. But you had to order yours directly from the factory, so their sales paled...
