A 45-year-old homeless man has been arrested in the stabbing of a Bensalem father of three who confronted the man as he allegedly attempted to break into cars near a Bensalem shopping center.

Bret's blood work came back normal, took out the arterial BP line and replaced with a normal cuff. When a bed is available he will be moved out of ICU. God is good!

Aggravated Assault / Stabbing

The Bensalem Township Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the photos. The male is a suspect in a stabbing which occurred on Monday June 17, 2013 at 7:10 pm in the area of Street Rd. and Mechanicsville Rd. The suspect was observed attempting to break into vehicles in the area when he was approached by the victim, who was subsequently stabbed in the abdomen. The suspect was last seen running east through the Giant Shopping Center.

The suspect is a black male, unknown age, who was last seen wearing a white with red pinstripes “Brooklyn” jersey, red pants, black sneakers, and a black hat.

The victim is still undergoing medical treatment and listed in stable condition at this time.
