The PTHA’s Health Fair was a tremendous success! We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our outstanding partners and vendors whose generosity, dedication, and support made this event so special. Most importantly, we thank our Horsemen for their enthusiastic participation and continued support. Our Backstretch Community is the heart of everything we do, and we remain committed to promoting the health, well-being, and quality of life of those who make our racing community so extraordinary!

The PTHA proudly hosted our annual DelVal Day at Parx Racing, showcasing the many career opportunities within Thoroughbred racing. We awarded $5,000 in academic scholarships to students pursuing equine studies and look forward to seeing the next generation make Thoroughbred racing part of their future!

The Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association is proud to see the Turf Course renovation enter its final stages as we look forward to welcoming Turf Racing back next spring.

We extend our appreciation and thanks to our project partners at Hummer Turfgrass Systems, Inc. and C6 Turf Management for project oversight.

This renovation represents a joint venture between the PTHA and Parx Racing and an important investment in the future of our Horsemen, our racing program, and Thoroughbred racing throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

We are excited for what lies ahead, and even more excited to see horses back on the turf next spring!
