Got rid of some rusty old tailpipes some nasty hangers and a busted up Y section. Saved the tips and put on some heavier duty hangers. This things turned out beautiful and sounds great video will post on our page of the sound. Well we are about halfway through this vette its been a learning curve, but we have conquered rebuilding the drivetrain from the flywheel to the rear end. So much detail goes into piecing these back together correctly. Hope to have her making V8 noises next week stay tuned ill be posting a video when she fires!!!

Welded in a floor pan today on this cutlass. Turned out real nice for not having the pan and making it out of scrap. We can and will order pans for most vehicles. If your car has rusty floorboards and you would like to have them replaced call 217-204-6786 and schedule yourself an appointment before you are Flintstoning it. We specialize in framework and jeep floor pans. Fabrication is a specialty, bring on the metalwork!!!

Ran a nice Y setup on this 1500 today turned out looking solid and sounded exactly the way the customer had anticipated after telling us what they preferred. This is one of my favorite setups we do here at the shop please tell your buddies and book the sound you are looking for. We love to see the look on a customer's face after changing things up a bit. BMW has filed a patent for a logo-shaped screw head designed to prevent car owners from fixing their own vehicles, pushing repairs toward authorized dealers.

Instead of Torx or hex fasteners, the screw uses the BMW roundel shape, with recessed and flush sections that standard tools cannot grip.

According to the patent, the screws are intended for structural and semi-structural areas such as seat mountings and interior-to-body connections.

BMW states the goal is to prevent loosening or tightening by “unauthorised persons,” meaning anyone without BMW-specific tools or access to BMW parts.

Critics say the move fits a broader industry trend that limits DIY repairs and fuels right-to-repair concerns.
