EarthCruiser is definitely not just a camper built on the back of a 4x4 truck. It is derived from personal experiences, a passion for excellence, comfort, reliability and significant field testing not only in our Australian outback birthplace but across the globe. No other manufacturer can offer such a background of knowledge and resea

rch. With its specially designed soft ride/hard road suspension kit, the EarthCruiser is capable of negotiating long distance desert crossings and endless corrugated and rough roads in comfort. At the end of the traveling day EarthCruiser can provide a hot shower, a cold drink from the fridge, and a comfortable bed for the night. Found the perfect spot and wish to stay for a while? EarthCruiser will continue to deliver hot showers and cold drinks for as long as you have sun, water and diesel available. Why limit your travels to one continent? EarthCruisers are easily containerised for international travel and our team will gladly help you make international touring and exploration a reality. Roaming the globe in an EarthCruiser is easy and the benefits are numerous:

We're only visitors here.
Wherever we travel, we're the guests. It belongs to the locals.
It's their home, not a zoo. Even it feels like one sometimes.

Have a great weekend.

“Australia is an honest testing ground.”

This customer video probably explains EarthCruiser DNA better than we ever could.

You’re a long way from anywhere out here. If it rains, you may be staying a while. So be prepared.

Flat tyres are going to happen — that mulga scrub eats them. If you are too heavy, it is hard on the gear… and hard on the driver too.

This is not proving grounds or marketing exercises. It is real customers. Real places. Real conditions. Really having a ball.

And we are forever grateful to them.

Way back in yesterday year… 2012.

One of the first Overland Expo events.

USA seeing an EarthCruiser for the first time. We were lucky enough to have one of our Australian customers (he is actually a New Zealander, but we won’t hold that against him) driving through and parking his truck at the show for us.

Over the years these shows have educated people pretty quickly.

What works, what lasts, and what starts to matter once the trip actually begins.

The overland crowd asks much better questions now than they used to.

Probably why the industry is changing so fast as well. Better systems, better components and a lot more people paying attention to how these vehicles are actually used instead of just how they look parked somewhere.
Feels like we are only just getting started really.

Have a great weekend.

Sadly we all see it to often.

A burned-out car dumped in a beautiful forest.

Before dragging this one out for collection, it turned into a pretty good way to demonstrate recovery and vehicle righting safely in a controlled environment.

Getting the chance to do recovery practice/training with upside down cars off road does not happen everyday.. Most people don’t get real experience until the day they really didn’t want it.

Overland Expo has always done a great job getting people willing to share knowledge before something goes wrong under pressure.

Thank you Oregon National Guard leaving the bush cleaner than we found it.

It is looking like another excellent summer of the overland shows and expos. Good times to check out the latest and greatest, and maybe do some shoppin.

Big wheels and tyres (tires?) usually mean a heavy truck.

Nothing wrong with that, I think they look great. Just worth thinking it all the way through.

Every one gets a flat tyre sooner or later. Heavy wheel and tyres feel a bit different when you’re changing one on the side of the road in the heat.

Big wheels combos don’t only have to look good, you have to live with them too.

A gear selection question that passes nearly any test —

Is this thing I am coveting giving me more time, or just one more thing to spend time on?

Is it just stuff, or is it helping provide the one thing money can’t?

Have a great weekend.

Simple is hard.

Usually takes more thought to remove things than add them.

Something worth paying attention to when looking at overland gear —

Every extra part, bolt, weld, rivet or glued join is another thing spending its life vibrating down the track looking for a place to fall off.

Usually the simplest solution lives the longest.

The overland show circuit is in full swing. Best place to look for the next must-have isn’t the stands. It’s the camping area.

Overland Expo does a really good job making it easy to have a chat and a wander through the campgrounds.

It’s cheaper to learn from other people’s experience. It’s more than just the purchase price — what’s it actually like to live with?

Then have another look at what you’re about to buy.

For trucks and campers, scratches and dings tend to come with it. So do the memories.
