Hey Charlie's riders ! We know its a school night but if your able to make it... Drake Well BMX is racing tomorrow! We are still far to wet so if you are able to get there go knock the cobwebs off the bikes and get the your legs a little workout ! Striders will start at 7 and registration is from 6 to 6:45 !!

Today’s Volunteer Spotlight shines on Doug Sundquist — a longtime board member, former track operator, and one of the familiar faces that helped shape Charlie’s BMX into what it is today.
For years, Doug dedicated countless hours not only to Charlie’s, but to BMX tracks all across the area. Whether he was working behind the scenes, helping at the track, sharing stories, or keeping everyone laughing, Doug has always been a huge part of the BMX community.
Recently, Doug handed the reins of track operator duties over to Mr. Wadington, but he’s still very much part of the Charlie’s BMX family and continues supporting the program however he can.
People like Doug are the reason BMX feels like more than racing — it feels like community. The time, effort, and heart he’s invested over the years have helped create memories for so many riders and families.
If you’ve ever crossed paths with Doug at Charlie’s or any other local track, leave a comment, share a memory, or thank him for the conversations, laughs, and years of dedication to the sport we all love.

Charlie’s BMX is already gearing up for an exciting season, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make this year one of the best yet!
We are currently looking for help in many areas, including board members, track prep, concessions, race day help, maintenance, and more. Every little bit of help goes a long way in keeping the program moving forward and creating a great experience for all of our riders and families.
Not able to donate your time? We are also always grateful for concessions donations and other support opportunities that help keep things running throughout the season.
Most importantly, we want to send a HUGE thank you to all of our continued volunteers, members, sponsors, and supporters. Charlie’s BMX would not be possible without the people who continue to step up and help year after year.

Good news we are not Currently in a drought ... bad news we also are not able to race ! We will soon be looking for help getting the track ready once this rain gives us a few dry days ! We again want to thank Jim Rauh enterprises and Jay Reeves for the new top layer ! Also thanks to Jerry Reeves our track man for putting in time this weekend to stack and cover the material for nicer weather ! Keep following our page and think sun and 80s .. ok 70s
