Like I said my platform is mainly mechanic stuff.
However, when you pull up. This is what you're going to see. Dave goes way back with our family and has been around since I can remember.
Our dad John McGraw fished with Dave when we were kids. Cleaning and hanging nets on side of our Grandma's house in B.O.T. Playing with his boy's. If you dont know the term "bunky" then you might not have been around that far back. Some days we'd do the same at his dad's place. To this day we still have an inside joke on our term "family".
Cleaning fish, cleaning and hanging nets, fishery runs, ice pick ups to keep the fish fresh, and playing outside.
Then the hunting stories, back road talks and walks, old trails, etc... filled my mind with curiosity of being an outdoors kid. For those of you that know me, know I was usually out finding a place to bike, swim, play, or hunt. These were all from watching men like my dad, uncles, and there friends. Dave being one of the main ones.
I look up to Dave as he paved the way for Red Lake Chippewa H**p and Cannabis. Standing his ground against opposition and resistance. He kept going. Creating bylaws, policies, protocols, etc... He stuck with it and made it happen.
He showed me that consistency pays off. Just like my dreams of having an automotive shop one day on the Red Lake Nation.
I am confident he'll protect our hunting and fishing rights. He knows our lake, hunting land, and other outdoor resources. I believe he'll stand his ground if anything came against our sovereignty as Red Lake band members.
People also know about his bike rides and what they stand for (and I am grateful he does them).
Good luck to everyone in the elections and hope you all feel accomplished for getting this far πͺπ
