Last night was a special evening as Joe Hamblock was honored with the Distinguished Citizen Award at the Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner!

This award recognizes individuals who have made a meaningful impact on our community, and we are grateful to the Chamber for recognizing Joe with this honor.

It was a wonderful night celebrating the people and businesses that make our community such a special place.

2,982 POUNDS! 💙

Ford challenged us to collect 400 pounds of food, but after collecting 1,745 pounds last year, we knew we could do even more! So we set our goal at 2,000 pounds, and look what happened!

2,982 pounds collected for Empower Boone!

To everyone who helped make this happen, you know who you are, and we appreciate you!

And now Empower Boone has challenged us to reach 4,000 pounds next year! Challenge accepted!

What a way to wrap up our September Food Drive! 💙
Today, Empower Boone came to pick up ALL the donations collected throughout September, and our Hamblock Ford team jumped right in to help load everything up!
We couldn’t have done this without our community's generosity and the many businesses and organizations that helped along the way.
A huge thank you to Empower Boone, Walmart Belvidere, Walmart Distribution Center WM PDC 2675 Belvidere , General Mills, Boone County Sheriff's Office, Belvidere Police Department, Belvidere Fire Department, and everyone who donated or helped spread the word!
An extra special thank you to Tammy at Walmart for all her hard work coordinating our City vs. County event and Aaron Wilson and the WIFR Crew for coming out to General Mills to get in on the fun!
And of course, thank you to our Hamblock Ford employees for pitching in throughout the month and helping load everything up today.
From the first donation to the last box loaded, this has truly been a community effort. We are grateful to everyone who helped us support local families through Empower Boone.
Thank you, Boone County! 💙
