I stayed late to try to help a guy out with a brake problem.

We thought we were going to get away with just a master cylinder, but it turns out we’re going to need the booster too.

I won’t say it was a wasted night, but it sure didn’t end the way I wanted it to.

We have had 3 vehicles come in during the last 24 hours with batteries that have failed and would not start the engine.

But it's only September and the weather is beautiful, so what gives??

Heat kills batteries and modern vehicles typically don't show warning signs of a failing battery prior to a no crank, no start condition.

Shop walk thru.

It's transmission week! It's weird how things always seem to go in spurts.

Also some discussion about proper transmission maintenance.

Which group are you in? Fluid services as preventative maintenance or run it until it won't?

There are strong opinions both ways.....

Noah Keever (the oldest of the Keever Brothers) started his official technical training journey today at Fort Hays Tech North Central!

He is enrolled in Automotive Technology as a full time, dual credit student so he will earn his Associates Degree and High School diploma on the same day. He is excited! (So is his dad because it saves A LOT of money and has him ready to work full time two years sooner. 😉)

Another Chevy Colorado repair, another broken heart!

Lloyd has the repair under control, but there is always pain in the wallet when these little trucks need work. It seems like nothing is easy on them.

7 hours of labor to change the starter!

We are at training in Nashville!

Teaching an old dog new tricks isn't easy.....

I did have someone think Noah and I were brothers, so maybe I don't look that old? Granted it wasn't the best lit room and the guy talking was old and possibly visually impaired, but I'll take it!
