Motörhead’s Car club

02/28/2025

Thank you to everyone who has sponsored, donated and attended The Motorheads Car Club Shows.

Due to rising costs at the venues 2024 was our last show.

Motorheads was originally started by a few car enthusiast and turned into an opportunity to give back to the community.

We so enjoyed getting together once a year and having a great time while raising money for great causes.

We will surely see you around at other car show events.

DAY CENTER “BLOWN AWAY” BY “AMAZING” DONATION

The Motorheads Car Club of Waltham has donated $7,500 to the Community Day Center of Waltham (CDCW).

On Tuesday, Geoff Boyle of Motorheads presented an oversize check to CDCW Executive Director Carolyn Montalto [center in photo] and Manager Chloe-Rose Crouch [right].

The CDCW provides day shelter and support services to adults who are experiencing homelessness.

Carolyn said she was “blown away” by the “amazing” donation. The money will go to the center’s operations fund.

The money was raised at the Motorheads Car Show at Gore Place on August 4, which drew 800 people and 300 cars.

It’s the largest donation the club has ever made, according to Geoff, who arrived at the center’s headquarters in his 1952 MG.

If you’d like to help the CDCW, consider attending its biggest fundraiser of the year on Thursday, September 26 at the Sons of Italy Hall in Watertown.
