Alumicraft Street Rod Grilles will NOT be at York this year. Sadly, I haven't taken any orders there for the last 2 years, and don't care to spend another $2000/year between the booth fees ($700) hotel ($800) and gas and food to not bring home any orders.
Where my booth was located right inside the door, I always got the "Where's all the vendors at?" question. My reply was always, "Where do you buy your parts at?" As vendors, we keep track of our sales at each of the events. Yes, we as vendors, understand that sometimes you need the part "now" and you order it online. But when you are in the process of a build, and you know that eventually you will need XYZ part, please plan your purchase to happen at a show.
It takes 3 entities to have a show, the car show organization to put the show on, the participants to attend the show and the vendors to supply parts for the participants to keep the hobby going.
Alumicraft will still be setting up at the NSRA Nationals in Louisville in our regular 20' x 20' booth at the front of the vendor hall. We are still sponsoring the 2026 NSRA Pro's Pick. We will also have a booth again at the Triple Crown of Rodding show at the Nashville Super Speedway the weekend after Labor Day
