These are photos of the camshafts on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee with around 85,000 miles. The engine has a ticking noise that most Chrysler Jeep Dodge vehicles develop over time. (It is a well-known and common issue.) The rocker arm valves eat into the camshafts and cause a noise and sometimes misfires. This vehicle has been serviced with BG Engine Services for the last 20,000 miles. BG warranty is covering almost all of the repair for this vehicle! This is one of the reasons we highly recommend BG Engine Services on vehicles with less than 70,000 miles. Their services cannot fix engine design issues all the time, but it sure helps to have the warranty coverage that they offer.
