Don Milam Legacy Lives On!
Don’s pride and joy was always his racecar. That car meant the world to him — the hours he poured into it, the memories, the passion, the friendships. Before he passed, Don gifted that car to his best friend Mike’s son, Jonathan, because he believed in him and wanted the next generation to carry the torch.

Tonight, Jonathan is doing exactly that.

He honored our family and our business in the most meaningful way — by adding a few tangible touches to his new car that represent Don, our legacy, and the heart behind Mark’s Towing. That kind of love, respect, and loyalty can’t be bought. It’s earned, and Jonathan showed up with all of it.

Tonight, that car hits the track at New Smyrna Speedway, carrying Don’s memory with it.

Let’s go Mennenga Family Race Team — we’re cheering for you, we’re proud of you, and we’re grateful for the way you continue to honor Don’s legacy.

We had a customer scammed out of $199 dollars for a 1 mile tow, and the company involved said if we wanted to get paid we should have charged the customer. These scams are growing fast and steady-they create a website, get payment upfront, and then shift the work to the actual providers who can fulfill the job! All while stealing from both our community businesses and our customers. DO NOT LET THEM GET YOU TOO!!!!

🚨 Public Warning to Our Customers

We want to alert our community about a growing number of third‑party roadside websites that claim to provide towing or roadside assistance but do NOT actually perform the service themselves. These websites often:

Charge customers upfront fees

Contact legitimate towing companies without disclosing those fees

Leave customers responsible for additional charges

Fail to communicate with the customer or the tow provider

Do not send a driver or complete the service they were paid for

This practice can leave customers stranded, double‑charged, and misled about who is actually providing assistance.

Mark’s Towing does NOT partner with any online roadside websites or dispatch‑only services.
If you paid an online company before speaking directly with us, that payment was not made to Mark’s Towing.

For your safety and protection:

✔ Always call us directly at (352) 843-3180
✔ Never pay an online roadside website before confirming who will provide the service.
✔ Ask the company if THEY are the provider or if they are subcontracting to someone else.
✔ Verify pricing directly with the towing company that will be assisting you.
We care deeply about our customers and our community. If you believe you were charged by a third‑party roadside website and did not receive service, please contact us so we can help guide you on next steps.

The temporary tattoos are in, just in time for our memorial! Our son will be so happy 😊

What do we think? I had stickers made, and our little Anthony asked to have them turned into a temporary tattoo, so I am looking into it!
