Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001.

During a visit to a firehouse museum in Denver, we had the honor of seeing this piece of steel recovered from the World Trade Center. A powerful reminder of the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the strength that brought our nation together.

We remember the innocent lives taken, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the families who carry their loss every day.

May we never forget their courage, their sacrifice, or the unity we shared.
