MTBDR SECTION 5 | SEELEY LAKE TO ST. REGIS. 🤘

Our Yellowstone Harley-Davidson crew kept pushing west, taking on Section 5 from Seeley Lake to St. Regis for the Backcountry Discovery Routes. Deep in Montana’s rugged country, the adventure rolls on with 20 riders, 16 Pan Americas, and plenty of ground left to cover.

Section 5. Keep the throttle open and the adventure rolling.

MTBDR SECTION 4 | LINCOLN TO SEELEY LAKE. 🤘

Two sections. One day. No letting up.

After knocking out Section 3 from Butte to Lincoln, our Yellowstone Harley-Davidson crew kept the wheels turning and pushed on to Section 4, riding from Lincoln to Seeley Lake.

20 riders. 16 Pan Americas. One full day of putting in the work.

MTBDR SECTION 3 | BUTTE TO LINCOLN. 🤘

Two sections in one day? The crew came ready to put in the miles.

Our Yellowstone Harley-Davidson crew tackled Section 3, riding from Butte to Lincoln through Montana’s rugged backcountry. More dirt, more miles, and plenty of Big Sky country along the way.

With 20 riders and 16 Pan Americas, this crew isn’t out here to take the easy route. They’re here to ride hard, push farther, and make every mile count.

MTBDR SECTION 2 | BLACKTAIL TRESTLE. 🤘

A piece of Montana history on a route built for adventure. Our Yellowstone Harley-Davidson crew rolled through Blacktail Trestle as the MTBDR took them deeper into Montana’s backcountry.

20 riders. 16 Pan Americas. One hell of a ride through Big Sky Country.

MTBDR SECTION 1 | ISLAND PARK TO VIRGINIA CITY

The guys started in the dark riding down from Belgrade to Island Park to start the Montana BDR. Then it all began, 127 miles of backcountry, gravel, dust, and wide-open country. From Island Park to Virginia City, the guys put the Pan Americas to work and left the pavement in the rearview.

This is what these bikes were built for. Getting dirty, taking the rough road, and pushing farther than the pavement ever could.

Josh, Kaes and Andy have been riding for years.

They’ve put in the miles, seen the roads, and know what it means to chase the next adventure. Now they’re taking all that experience into the Montana backcountry and putting it to work on the MTBDR.

Josh is riding alongside his brother Chad and their dad, Dan, making this ride even more special. However Josh and Kaes grew up together and Andy raced drag bikes with Josh. Years of riding brought them here, and there are still plenty of miles ahead.

The adventure continues. 🤘

There is no age limit on adventure

Dan Fry is proof that the desire to explore, ride, and chase the next horizon doesn’t fade with time. With years of experience behind him and plenty of miles still ahead, he continues to ride, explore, and say yes to the next adventure.

Age isn’t what defines the ride. It’s the miles, the memories, and the people you share them with. I can say that with a little extra pride because he isn’t just one of the riders in this group but he is my grandfather and the father of Josh and Chad who have joined him on this adventure! Watching him out here chasing the same adventures as the rest of us is pretty damn special.

Keep the tank full. Take the long way. Rubber side down. 🤘

Backcountry Breakdowns Happen.

Zack is our go-to tech for Pan Americas at Yellowstone Harley-Davidson, and right now he’s putting that knowledge to work on the Montana BDR with 15 other Pan Americas.

From the shop to the backcountry, Zack knows these bikes inside and out. There’s no better way to put that expertise to the test than miles of Montana dirt.

Our crew is out to dominate the Montana Backcountry Discovery Route. Big sky, backroads, mountain passes, and plenty of Montana dirt. Four days in, and they’re still chasing the kind of freedom you only find out here.

The Pan Americas were built to ride. So were these riders.
