Another one out the door for the Mitchell Police Department.

This Tahoe was built with purpose behind every detail. From lighting placement to overall functionality, every part of this package was designed with real-world use in mind — because when you wear the uniform and use this equipment every day, you understand what actually works in the field.

That firsthand experience matters. It’s the difference between simply installing equipment and building a vehicle that helps keep officers safer, more visible, and better prepared when it counts.

We don’t build vehicles based on sales gimmicks or catalog packages. We build them based on practical experience, officer safety, and what we would want in our own patrol vehicles. We don't sell products to make a profit. We just want you to be safe.

Today, Core Outfitting proudly made a $500 donation to the White River Humane Society.

While we support many causes throughout our community, animal welfare is something we at Core Outfitting are especially passionate about. The work organizations like the White River Humane Society do every day to care for and protect animals in need is truly admirable, and we are honored to support their mission.

As we continue to grow, giving back to our community will always remain one of our priorities.

Currently, all donations made to the White River Humane Society are being matched dollar for dollar by a generous anonymous donor, up to $1 million, significantly amplifying the impact of every gift.

This Tahoe originally came equipped with only a front and rear interior lightbar. While that setup works in some applications, this vehicle is now being used for road patrol where visibility from every angle matters.

To address that, we added the necessary side and front lighting to ensure the vehicle is highly visible, especially at intersections and cross traffic.

We also installed a Stalker Radar system, along with a Setina push bumper to enhance both function and protection. To further improve safe responding, we added a Howler low-frequency siren—helping alert drivers in an incredible way.

When it comes to emergency vehicle lighting and equipment, placement and coverage matter just as much as the equipment itself and that’s where experience makes the difference.

This Chevrolet Blazer was set up with a purpose... low profile when it needs to be, but highly visible when it counts. The lighting package on this unit turned out exactly how it should: discreet during everyday operations, yet extremely effective if the vehicle has to run emergent.

This is where experience matters. Knowing how these vehicles are actually used in the field allows us to strike the right balance between concealment and safety, without compromising either.

We’re very happy with how this one came together, and more importantly, confident it will perform when it’s needed most.

Something we didn’t get around to posting from last year…

This Police Mobile Crime Scene Unit bus was a unique build for us. We were able to incorporate a mix of both new and repurposed equipment from their previous unit, maximizing functionality while being mindful of cost.

The end result is a fully capable mobile command and crime scene unit—ready to perform when it matters most. In the event it’s deployed, this bus will serve as a commanding presence on scene, providing the space and setup needed to manage critical incidents effectively.

Projects like this highlight what we’re all about—working closely with agencies to build practical, mission-ready solutions tailored to their needs.

Another Dodge Charger upfit complete!

For this build, we removed the factory carpet floor liner and replaced it with the Dodge vinyl floor liner. This not only makes for easier cleaning and long-term durability, but ensures the vehicle is truly built for the demands of the job.

This Charger turned out great and stands right alongside the others we’ve shared. We’re proud of every build that leaves our shop and the safety it provides to those behind the wheel.

Not all emergency vehicle lighting is meant to be seen… until it needs to be.

When it comes to undercover and detective vehicles, every detail matters. That’s why we utilize smoked/tinted light lenses which helps conceal equipment through glass while still delivering the performance needed when it counts.

It’s more than just installing lights. It’s understanding how the job actually works. Knowing how these vehicles are used day-to-day allows us to build setups that prioritize both function and discretion.

That’s why working with an upfitter who has real-world experience makes all the difference.

Core Outfitting was proud to support Jalynn Holmes, a cancer survivor whose story embodies courage and resilience, as she helps raise funds for the Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services.

We were proud to donate both our time assembling items for her soup and bingo benefit and a monetary contribution to support her efforts of being crowned queen!

At the end of the day, our #1 goal is and always will be our community and those in the communities that we serve!
