POINT CHAMPIONSHIPS TO BE DECIDED ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. –

The chase for the track championships heads into the final three events starting this Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.

This Saturday night Grandview Speedway will present another NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts program featuring the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modifieds & Sportsman along with the second appearance of the Keystone Sport Compact Series Four Cylinders.

The show on Saturday, August 29, sponsored by A.D. Moyer Lumber Company, will include qualifying events leading up to a 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman, as well a 25-lap main event for the Keystone Sport Compact Four Cylinders.

Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.

Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

In addition to the racing action this Saturday night, prior to the racing program will be the weekly meet and greet, presented by Low-Down Entertainment and hosted by Brittany Huber and Jennifer Umbenhauer. This week’s drivers who will be on hand with their cars will be Anthony Perrego, Billy Pauch Jr., Kenny Bock and Kelly Fleming.

The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area of the grandstand from 5 to 6 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers in person, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway. Also included in the Meet & Greet will be Little Miss Grandview Alaina Steigerwalt with crayons and coloring pages for the kids!

Also, on Saturday night the LDE Meet & Greet team will be selling tickets for one lucky participant to win the official LDE Meet & Greet banner which is emblazoned with the M&G logo and has been signed by every driver and special guest that has participated in the M&G's this year. Tickets will be $5 for an "arm length" and $10 for a "wingspan" to participate.

100% of the ticket sales will be added to the Cash Dash purse for the Freedom 76er. Stop by the Meet & Greet and talk to Jennifer Umbenhauer or Brittany Huber for tickets. The drawing will take place at the final M&G of the season Saturday, September 12 on Championship night.

The Freedom 76 weekend is fast approaching and begins on Friday, September 18 with the 13th annual Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship. The race program will follow the Freedom 76 race format with qualifying heats, consolations, Roy Miller II of Keller Williams Real Estate $500 to win cash dash, the Patriot 20, all leading up to the 38-lap Championship feature event, plus practice time for 358 Modified drivers wishing to participate in the Freedom 76.

Saturday, September 19 will feature the 56th annual Freedom 76 358 Modified Championship. The program includes qualifying heats, consolations, GT Radiator Repair $1000 to win cash dash, and the Schaeffer’s Motorsports Minuteman 20, all leading up to the 76-lap Championship main event.

The Freedom 76 & 38 weekend races continue to get more lucrative for the drivers, as more bonus money continues to be added to the Championship race weekend including -

Lap sponsorships are a great way to wish your favorite driver good luck or advertise a business during the big Championship race weekend on September 18-19, and all lap sponsorships are read on the public address system at the track and posted on social media each week leading up to the big event and on championship race weekend.

After last Saturday night’s program, the count remains at ten different drivers who have been to victory lane in the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified division, with Brett Kressley joining Louden Reimert and Jeff Strunk (which includes a Thunder on the Hill series win) as three-time winners, with Craig Von Dohren having scored two wins, while Jared Umbenhauer, Duane Howard, Ryan Watt, Anthony Perrego, Tim Buckwalter, and Billy Pauch Jr. (Thunder Series win) all have a single victory.

Top point drivers who will also be in action this Saturday night include point leader Eddie Strada, Logan Watt, Rick Laubach, Mike Gular, Ryan Grim, Kyle Smith, and Jax Yohn, along with over three dozen drivers looking to score a feature event win.

Following last Saturday’s program, the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman division now has twelve different winners so far this season, with Alex Bartorillo, Johnny Fugelo and Brad Brightbill all scoring two wins each, while Bryce Bashore, Mike Toth, Mark Mohr, Jesse Landis, Decker Swinehart, Brett Gilmore, Addison Meitzler, Brett Grim, and last week’s first-time winner Matthew Laubach all having one feature victory.

Other top point drivers who will be looking for the race win on Saturday include point leader Joe Toth, Colin Cox, Teague Miller, Chase Gular, Nick Van Wickle, Jimmy Leiby, Jordan Henn and Gavyn Krupp, along with over three dozen drivers looking for a Grandview feature win.

The final weeks of point racing and the chase for the point titles continues on Saturday, September 5, with a double program of T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds & Sportsman, with an earlier start time of 7 pm.

Since the 1960’s, Grandview Speedway has been presenting exciting wheel to wheel NASCAR stock car racing every Saturday Night starting in April and running through September, plus special events.

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway will be honoring late track owner Theresa Rogers with the running of the 2026 Freedom 76.

Theresa Rogers birthday was May 31, so to honor her memory the Rogers Family, owners and operators of Grandview Speedway, have for this years Freedom 76, increased the winner’s share to 3️⃣5️⃣,5️⃣3️⃣1️⃣

And there is much more!

With Grandview Speedway being a member of the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts, drivers who will be competing in this season’s T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified Freedom 76 and T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman Freedom 38 will be racing for bonus money courtesy of the NASCAR Local Racing Series.

*On Saturday, September 19 the winner of the Freedom 76 will receive a $1000 bonus from the NASCAR Local Racing Series increasing the winner’s take to a cool $36,531, and if the driver competed in all the Saturday NASCAR point races at the track this season, an additional bonus of $1000 will be awarded, making it possible for a driver to win $37,531 in this year’s Freedom 76!

The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman Freedom 38 purse will pay $2064 to win, with the number 64 signifying the years of racing at Grandview Speedway.

*On Friday September 18 the winner of the Freedom 38 will receive a $500 bonus from the NASCAR Local Racing Series increasing the winner’s share to $2564, and if the driver competed in all the Saturday NASCAR point races at the track this season, an additional $500 bonus will be awarded, making for a possible $3064 to win the Freedom 38!

Lap sponsorships are a great way for fans to wish their favorite driver’s good luck in the big race, or for businesses to do some advertising. All lap sponsorships will be read on the public address system each week leading up to and including race night on September 18 & 19 and will be posted on social media.

Those wishing to camp at the Speedway please note: All campers & tents must be parked and set up in the fourth turn area only, while campers can begin to enter the grounds in the fourth turn area on Saturday, September 12 and remain there until the 19th. However, because there are no hookups, sleeping in the campers can only take place on September 17-19.

The Freedom 76 weekend begins on Friday, September 18 with the 13th annual Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship. The race program will follow the Freedom 76 race format with qualifying heats, consolations, Roy Miller II of Keller Williams Real Estate $500 to win cash dash, the Patriot 20, all leading up to the 38-lap Championship feature event, plus practice time for 358 Modified drivers wishing to participate in the Freedom 76.

Friday’s program will be known as Fans for Five Friday as the grandstand admission is just $5, while children ages 9 and under will be free of charge.

On Friday, pit gates open at 3 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, drivers meeting at 5:30 pm, with the pill draw following the drivers meeting. Warmups are at 6:15 pm, and racing will start at 7:30 pm. Pit admission on Friday is $40, and no license is required. There is no rain date for the Friday event.

Saturday, September 19 will feature the 56th annual Freedom 76 358 Modified Championship. The program includes qualifying heats, consolations, GT Radiator Repair $1000 to win cash dash, and the Schaeffer’s Motorsports Minuteman 20, all leading up to the 76-lap Championship main event.

On Saturday pit gates open at 9 am, for car inspections, fans will be able to enter the Grandstand areas between 9 am, and 12 Noon to reserve seats with blankets, with grandstand ticket windows opening at 3 pm. Pill draw for position is at 4:30 pm, with the drivers meeting at 5 pm, warm-ups are at 6 pm, with racing starting at 7 pm.

Adult Grandstand tickets on Saturday will be $40, students 10-15 with ID are $20, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission will be $45, and no license is required. There will be no advance tickets sold for this event, and the rain date is Saturday, September 26.

Drivers are reminded that rules and procedures as well as entry forms for the 56th annual Freedom 76 are available on the Grandview Speedway website at www.grandviewspeedway.com under the Freedom 76 tab.

Racers are reminded that the Freedom 38 is open to regular Sportsman division drivers only, drivers who compete regularly in Modified division competition are not eligible to compete.

For the Freedom 76 & Freedom 38, the tire rules for the event are as follows, American Racer tires, 48 or 50 on the right rear, and it must be the Grandview Speedway tread pattern. Drivers are reminded that all cars must be using the RIGHT SIDE pan hard bar suspension set up.
