Equipment & Assets of Beaver Dam Raceway to Be Sold at Auction
Beaver Dam, WI – December 1, 2025 – The checkered flag fell for the final time at Beaver Dam Raceway on September 20, 2025. Now, owner Scott Boyd has commissioned Steffes Group, Inc. to auction all equipment and assets of the legendary raceway, located in Beaver Dam, WI. The sale will take place via a timed online auction event featuring three auction rings, hosted by Steffes Group, Inc.
Boyd shared that, after many years in the racing business, this sale marks a shift in focus to other ventures. The land that previously hosted thrilling races is now serving as a construction storage site in support of Meta’s new AI data center being built in Beaver Dam. Boyd is also exploring land development opportunities with the city of Beaver Dam.
According to Steffes representative Lynn Richard, the auction will offer an impressive variety of items, including track prep equipment, water trucks, motor graders, tractors, skid steers, ATVs, billboards, timing and scoring systems, food and concession equipment, tools, and much more.
Interested buyers are invited to preview the auction items on Monday, December 8th, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Bidding will open on Monday, December 8th and will close on Monday, December 15th, with each of the three auction rings closing at staggered times.

As I prepare to retire from my role as General Manager of Beaver Dam Raceway, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude. It has been an incredible honor to serve this racetrack, the fans, drivers, crews, and sponsors who have supported us year after year.
I am especially thankful to Scott Boyd for giving me the opportunity to manage his racetrack. His trust and confidence allowed me to be part of something truly special, and I will always be grateful for the chance to work alongside such a dedicated man.
Over the years, I have witnessed countless unforgettable moments on the track and built friendships that I will carry with me for a lifetime. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of everyone who makes Beaver Dam Raceway what it is—a place where passion, competition, and community come together.
Although I am stepping away from my position, my love for this racetrack and the people who fill it will always remain. Thank you again for the many years of support, encouragement, and memories.

Diane Mech Photography has posted all of their photos from both Friday and Saturday, there were a few other photographers/videographers on site, so be on the lookout for their work as well. we'd like to thank the Mech Family for all their hard work capturing pictures and videos for us for the past several years, they've done a great job and captured a lot of memories.

It was a trying night but we managed to get the whole show in. The Mod feature went green at 12:06am Sunday morning after multiple rain delays, track prep sessions, brief hot lap sessions, some running order shuffling, and a lot of hard work. But it was worth it.

We greatly appreciate every fan and driver that stuck it out all night, on both Friday and Saturday. We’re bummed we couldnt get both nights in but thankful we could even get in Saturday with the circumstances.

Now let’s go a little off script here and get real for a moment. This very well could be the end of BDR, there is something in the works for the facility for next year, that does not include it being utilized as a race track. The facility/property is not sold, it’s not going to be bulldozed, but the future of the facility at the moment is not as a race track. Business is business and we won’t share any further details, but the only thing that will keep this place a racetrack is a buyer that intends to keep it as so.

Until then, this was it. All there is to do now is wait and see what happens next. We, and hopefully everyone else, cherishes every single moment you spent here at BDR, and hope it’s not the last.

Be grateful for what you have, you never know when it could be gone.
