Welcome to 302 McPhersonville Rd. Off Hwy 17. This is the new and final Doctor Auto. It’s a multi acre compound with a badass shop nestled right against the river. It’s next to I-95 and about 30 minutes from Beaufort. It has a ton of cool factors including a tavern that hosted George Washington just right across the water. This is it, this is home and I’ve never felt more right about a big decision. Let me know what yall think 🙏💪🏼

New shop, new us.

-Appointment only: We will be predominately appointments with very limited “walk ins”. This is so we can focus on tasks at hand without being pulled in 100 different directions. We are no longer going to offer a waiting room, so drop offs are necessary. I know that’s inconvenient, and we will lose clients, but our mental health is more important than anything.

-Mobile/Roadside: We’re going back to our roots and offering mobile repairs, servicing, diagnostics. This is so we can accommodate our loyal customers that cannot make the drive to our new location for basic stuff.

-Preferred repairs: We will choose what we work on from now on. So if you call and we say no, don’t take it personal. I’m focusing on what is time efficient and makes money. I’m done being under ridiculous time crunches, messing with vehicles that we can’t get parts for, and worn out sh*tboxes that have 25 other failures when you touch the original issue.

-Payment: we are a business and need to function like one. As much as I’d like to help everyone with a story out, I no longer can. We offer Affirm and Sunbit if you don’t have the funds to pay for services. Other than that, we are not the Bank of Doctor Auto.

-Towing: As usual we will refer yall to Interstate Towing, and will also have a truck and trailer available to pickup vehicles as well.

Thank you to our loyal customers and followers. I know that not everyone is going to make the trip to Yemassee, and that’s okay. This whole thing is about higher quality and less stress. 🙏

Alright guys it’s official, we are moving!

The current shop costs too much in rent, utilities, and repairs. The location is nice, but the layout isn’t great and the costs are too much.

The new shop is located in Yemassee. We will own the property and it’s all around better. It has more parking, and a better layout for our specific needs. The lower cost means we don’t need to take in as much work, or try to hire more technicians. Thus our quality should go way back up.

I realize we’ve had issues. When you get bigger, you take in more work, more problems, more people and their problems too. It’s difficult to oversee at the scale which we’re currently operating.

This feels abrupt because it is. This property came available and we had to make a decision, get out of our lease, and plan this fast. As we all know, commercial auto repair property is near impossible to find around here. We will start moving what we can immediately, with a projected full move by mid-end of October.
