🏁 Where the world’s rarest cars meet perfection.

From vintage Ferraris to legendary muscle, the Turtle Invitational brings together collectors, builders, and automotive enthusiasts for a weekend unlike any other.

This year, Fitzgerald Automotive was honored to be invited — showcasing our engine building craftsmanship and classic car restoration work among some of the best in the world. 🧰🔥

⚙️ Precision. Passion. Performance.
That’s what drives us — from our small-town Connecticut shop to one of the most exclusive car events in the country.

Darryl with Wayne Carini at the Turtle Invitational, talking Ford history — specifically the legendary 427 SOHC “Cammer.” We were proud to bring this rare engine to the event!

Hand-assembled by Ford in the 1960s, the Cammer was built to dominate NASCAR — but its overhead cam design led to it being banned before it ever raced. It never made it into production cars, which makes these engines incredibly rare and highly sought-after. Wayne once had one in a Cobra he recently sold on Bring a Trailer — true muscle car history!
