RV REPAIR TECHNICIAN

We are a family owned and operated Automotive & RV Repair Shop located in Baytown, TX, seeking a full time RV Technician or Handyman. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hard-working, detail and goal oriented, be familiar with and able to safely use a variety of tools, able to work and complete tasks under minimal supervision, and work with a sense of urgency. It is preferred that you have your own tools but not required. Previous RV Tech or Handy Man experience preferred. We are willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, doing repairs on RV’s, everything from re-sealing roofs down to changing tires and everything in between, such as awnings, slide outs, steps, appliances, electrical, plumbing, remodeling, etc. Other duties that may be assigned are keeping your area clean and organized, cleaning up after each job, performing quality control checks after jobs are complete, pulling and ordering parts, some mechanical repairs, verifying part numbers, inspect incoming materials for damages, assisting other RV Techs and Mechanics as directed, and must be willing to do some off-site work occasion.

*Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm with occasional overtime.
*Must have reliable transportation.
*Must have clean and professional appearance.
*Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities:
• Repair automobiles, trucks, buses, RVs and other motor
vehicles
• Be familiar with diesel engines
• Perform preventative and routine vehicle maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle
to the customer

Responsibilities will include data entry into QuickBooks and running reports. answering phones and taking accurate messages, filing, data entry, assisting owner, office manager, and shop foreman with any other duties deemed necessary. Ideal candidate will be highly motivated, dependable, able to work under minimal supervision, possess basic computer skills, detail oriented, good organizational skills, have good communication skills, and be willing to learn and take direction.
