Staff Spotlight: Todd Donnelly ✨

Today we’re spotlighting Todd Donnelly, Safety Manager for the manufacturing facility in Gretna, NE! Todd started as a Safety Clerk for LGT Transport in 2023 and was promoted to Safety Manager at Lawson in August last year.

As Safety Manager, Todd is responsible for the safety of all staff, managers, and technicians. In his role, he interprets OSHA regulations, trains employees on safety procedures, and ensures all team members meet safety requirements for respiratory fittings, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment used throughout the shop.

Todd has also played an important role in creating the manufacturing facility’s safety programs and procedures.

“One of the most rewarding parts of my job is getting to see the trailers built from the ground up,” Todd said. “I’d never been involved in manufacturing before, so it’s been exciting to watch the process from flat pieces of metal to a fully finished trailer.”

Staff Spotlight: Elliott Koory ✨

Elliott has been with Lawson since January 2024 as our Lead Engineer at our manufacturing facility in Gretna, NE.

Elliott is responsible for designing everything we build in-house by performing calculations, creating 3D models, drafting prints, and creating bills of materials. As our lead engineer, he has also played a key role in helping Lawson obtain our ASME certification to manufacture pressure vessels.

“The most rewarding part of my job is seeing my designs and ideas come to life and getting the chance to be part of a new company that is just beginning its journey in manufacturing,” he said. “Starting from nothing is probably the most challenging but also exciting aspect of the job.”

Elliott earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2017 and went on to become a DOT Design Certifying Engineer at LBT Inc. before joining the Lawson team.

Omaha, NE born and raised, he still lives there with his wife, Laura. Outside of work, he does 3D modeling and 3D printing, and his passion is restoring and modifying classic Japanese sports cars – applying his engineering skills to his projects.

Staff Spotlight: Albert Garcia ✨

Albert has been a mechanic at Lawson since 2024, working at our facility in Baytown, Texas. His role involves repairing suspension systems, wiring, valves, and completing DOT inspections on trailers.

Albert has 10 years of experience as a mechanic. He began his career working at a Ford dealership, then spent five years working on big rigs. Two years ago, he decided to take on a new challenge and transitioned into the cryogenic field, where he has continued to grow his skill set and expertise.

“What I enjoy most about working at Lawson is how close everyone is in the shop.” Albert said.
“We have each other's back and always lend a hand when we need it.”

Albert has lived in Baytown his whole life. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He’s married and a proud father of two amazing boys.
