All teched in and ready to go for round 3 of the MSADRA PS800 series!

Yesterday was a bit of meh….struggled early then things came around. Chip draw first round and we got eliminated. Found a piston with pinched ring, had to do surgery this morning so we should be good to go!

Congratulations to Chad Dolan on the win yesterday! Chad got it done on a holeshot and held off the always stout “black sled” of Farnen/Kovach.

Another triple stroker crankshaft heading out to a customer. Machine work done at Pro-4 Performance and all assembly done by Scott Leaym at Mickey’s Sleds. Scott used to be at Area Cycle and I’ll put his work up against anybody’s out there!

Finally able to do a recap on our race over the weekend. We qualified #2 with a 5.481 to 5.471 for Brian Pretzel aboard...

Finally able to do a recap on our race over the weekend.

We qualified #2 with a 5.481 to 5.471 for Brian Pretzel aboard the Farnen/Kovach sled

First round was against the always tough and 2022 champ Dean Hassevort. Tiina ran our best ET to date that round with a 5.457 @ 120.56 mph

Semi final found us against fellow REV chassis friend Chad Dolan, I didn’t see his side of the tree but I saw we dropped to a 5.646 ET that round and thought we lost but….Chad went red with a -.014 reaction time. Sled came back and we found two spark plugs rattled loose and hammered shut so we definitely had luck on our side!

Not having a clue what would happen in the final against Doug Flannery we added a little fuel in a couple areas in the map and pulled a smidge of timing out to try to keep all 3 cylinders lit and….it worked! 5.439 @ 120.61 for the win!

Great job goes out to Tiina for being consistent on the tree all day!!

Next race will be June 23-24th at Mid Michigan Motorplex, if you’re out that way stop by our pit area!

She brings many years of experience and winning at the highest level of asphalt racing and a few of her accomplishments include:

Won 19 NHRA Wally’s throughout her career

Yesterday was the first test day for the PS800. Last year we ran Fueltech ecu with carbs, this year it’s EFI or bust! Took a couple runs to get a few settings sorted but made some pretty good progress, and it responded to very minor changes in the tune. Can’t wait to get the season started next Saturday!
