United Way of Bay County is partnering with The Margaret Jane Stoker Charitable Trust from Huntington National Bank and Laborers Local 1098 this year to provide Bay County Pre-K and Elementary School students with warm boots and coats for the winter season! ❄⛄

✋Volunteers needed - bonus points if you love purses! 👛

As we prepare for our Power of the Purse event on October 1, we need some help. All of the hundreds of purses available for purchase in the silent auction and at the $10 deal tables are donated to us. Most are gently used while some are brand new. We are seeking volunteers who can help clean and quality check these purses. ✨

We have all the cleaning supplies you need, and purses have already been sorted by category. We need cleaners to give attention to the purses one tote at a time. 👜You can come one time and clean as many as you can or schedule several cleaning sessions - we're flexible! 👝

One week until Michigan’s State Primary Election!

Election Day is Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Bay Metro Transit will offer free rides throughout the day to help residents get to the polls.

Before Election Day, take a few minutes to confirm your polling location, view a sample ballot and review other important voter information through the Michigan Voter Information Center.
