Finally a breath of fresh air. AQI of 70 today feels great! However this may just be a break from the smoke, as the wildfires are still raging and if the wind turns it could blow the smoke right over us again.

So with that being said we see it fitting to announce how we are handling reservations during these unique “smoke days”.

Basically we won’t force anyone to cancel, nor will we force anyone to go out in the smoke. If a renter or their group has any concern regarding the smoke, we will reschedule for free, or simply cancel with a full refund. If you don’t mind the smoke, we won’t stop you from having a good time!

Each case will be different, and we’ll handle them as they come.

This wildfire smoke sucks, and has a large impact on our business and many others within the industry. But it’s much worse for the people whose lives have been directly uprooted by the fires.

So let’s hope fires die, the smoke stays away, and in the meantime we will remain positive, flexible, and safe!

This wild fire smoke is a very unfortunate thing for us to be experiencing here in Michigan this week. But I have to say, the view of the Saginaw Bay has got to be pretty sweet on a boat! There's always a bright side of things........ wear a respirator if you rent from us today or tomorrow!
