What a great way to start the season. We started out Saturday with Kevin Thomas, Jr. sweeping both hot laps and qualifying and running 4th in the A main. Jakeb JB Boxell qualified 5th overall and won his heat race, finished 5thin the A main. On to Sunday where we saw more the same with the speed in these cars. It was JB’s turn to sweep hot laps and qualifying being the only car to break the 12 second barrier. KTJ qualified 4th overall. That saw both cars in the fist heat. KT ended up winning the heat race and JB ran third after an interesting start to race. The A main saw KT finishing third and JB finishing fifth. Overall what’s great weekend. The goal for the weekend was to enter midget week with both cars in the top 5 in points and have 1 car leading or within striking distance. Mission accomplished. Could not have done it without the support of everyone involved. Matt Westfall and his dad as always were on point all weekend, Chase Aten and Kelly Rynard, and Neil made the trip from PA to provide awesome support. Justin Dull and Cru jones were also big help all weekend. The combination of Stanton Racing Engines Advanced Racing Suspensions Lynk Chassis were on point all weekend long and the support we receive from them are unmatched. Can’t wait for June it’s a long season but it’s a great start. Thank you to all the fans and supporters that stopped by the pits this weekend it was great seeing everyone.
