🚀 BIG NEWS AT GALACTIC SHADES! 👽

We’re growing, and we’ve officially got a new face on the Galactic Shades team!

Everybody welcome Bryce! 🤝

Bryce is trained, ready to go, and will be helping us take even better care of our customers from the very first conversation.

Whether you’re looking to get your vehicle tinted, have questions about film options, need an estimate, or you’re ready to get on the schedule, Bryce is your guy.

He’ll be helping with:

• Estimates & pricing
• Answering window tint questions
• Helping you choose the right film/package
• Scheduling appointments
• Following up & taking care of our customers

I’m seriously excited to have him on board.

I’ve known Bryce for years, and he’s also a fellow veteran. 🇺🇸 But while working together to put on the Diaper Rave at the shop back in May, I got to see his personality, professionalism, and ability to connect with people firsthand.

I remember thinking, “I need this guy on my team.”

So when I say Bryce was hand picked for this role, I mean it.

Welcome to the team, Bryce! 🛸👽

We can meet at Galactic Shades tomorrow! If tomorrow works for you, just let me know a good time and we’ll get everyone taken care of.

Sorry for the late notice! I just really want to make sure these get into the kids’ hands in time for school. 🎒📚

We started this giveaway with 3 backpacks.

Then people started stepping up.

And somehow, by the time it was all said and done, there was enough for every single kid who was nominated. 💙

Kinda reminds me of the story of the loaves and fishes.

Sometimes you just offer what you have, and God handles the multiplication. 🙏

Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. This community showed up. ❤️👽

08/20/2026

🎒 WELL… WE DON’T NEED TO DRAW WINNERS. 👽💙

Little late on the update, but we finally got everything counted.

12 nominations. 12 backpacks.

Thanks to this community stepping up, EVERY SINGLE KID NOMINATED IS GETTING A BACKPACK. 🎒🙌

No drawing. No picking names. No kid left out.

Seriously, thank you to everyone who donated, shared, nominated a kid, or helped us pull this together. What started as a small giveaway turned into 12 kids getting hooked up for back to school.

We’ll be reaching out to everyone nominated with pickup details!

12 for 12. 💙👽

08/19/2026

🎒 NOMINATIONS ARE OFFICIALLY CLOSED! 👽

I misspoke earlier, today was the nomination deadline, and we’re calling it now!

Winners will be randomly picked TOMORROW! 🎉

And thanks to this community stepping up, we’ve got MORE backpacks to give away than we originally planned! 🙌💙

We’re still calculating the final bag count 👀🎒

Thank you to everyone who nominated a kid, donated, shared the post, or helped make this happen.

Final bag count + winners coming tomorrow! 👽

08/18/2026

🎒 TODAYS THE DAY! 👽

No exact time yet because we’ve gotta finish up today’s tint work first, but stay tuned!

Once we’re wrapped up, we’ll be randomly picking the winners TODAY! 🎉

And the best part… the community stepped up and we ended up with MORE backpacks to give away than we originally planned! 🙌💙

Seriously, thank you to everybody who donated, shared, and helped make this bigger than we expected.

stay tuned for Winners being picked later today & pickup info!🎒👽

🎒 BACK-TO-SCHOOL BACKPACK GIVEAWAY! 👽💙

School is starting, and we have 3 fully loaded backpacks to give away to local kids! 🎒✏️📓

Now we need your help finding who they should go to.

NOMINATE A CHILD 👇

Comment their first name + grade below to add them to the drawing.

💙 You can nominate someone you know
💙 Parents can nominate their own child
💙 If you’d like to share why you’re nominating them, you can — but it’s not required.

Every nomination will be entered into a random drawing, and we’ll draw 3 names Wednesday!

But here’s the cool part…

If the community wants to help us give away MORE than 3, we’re accepting donations through Tuesday night. 🙌 each bag is roughly $50-60 to buy & fill.

Every additional donation goes toward another backpack and school supplies for another local kid.

🎒 3 backpacks already guaranteed
📅 Nominations + donations close Tuesday night
🎉 Drawing Wednesday

Whether we give away 3, 5, or 10… let’s see how many kids we can send into the school year with a fresh backpack and the supplies they need. 💙

Know someone who could use one? Nominate them below or share this post so it reaches the right families.
