Many of you told us this was the best car show yet — and we couldn’t agree more! It was a fantastic event on so many levels, but the most meaningful part for the Marketplace, Big Daddy's Garage LLC Quality Auto Mart & Service and Widener Automotive Inc.. was the opportunity to give back.

Together, we raised $2,600 for Safe Passage, Inc., an organization making a difference in the lives of those in our community.

"We are beyond thrilled to add this to the funding to offset the 23% loss of funding from Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) federal funding administered through the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI). This will allow us to continue life saving services the way in which the Batesville community and all six of our counties have come to expect, including our 24/7 text and helpline, emergency shelter, and mobile advocacy services.
