I would like to introduce myself. My names is James Wimbley and pictured here with me is the heart and soul of my life, my wife, Marvel Greene Wimbley. If you are a Bastrop native you will know that the Greene Family has been here for many generations. I was born and raised in the Dallas area. Years later then i met Marvel in Houston. We ended up having a wonderful life in Houston but my wife longed for her family in Bastrop, so we moved to Bastrop just a little over a year ago. I have to admit moving from the big city to a small Texas community has been quite the adjustment, but one that I have grown to love. With a background in Car Sales, Restaurant Design Management, Public Relations and General Contracting, I would say that I was anxious to get back to work. Many of you know that I was with a Cadillac Dealer for many years, now I'm selling F-150s which is the Cadillac of small towns. I have recently joined the Sales Team at Sames Ford here in Bastrop. Sames Ford has incredibly high standards for the Sales Associates and I’m hitting the books each day to get a good working knowledge of the various forms of transportation that we have to offer here at Sames.
