MAKING HIS FIRST START IN THE GREATEST TRADITION IN MODIFIED RACING, ANTHONY BELLO WILL BE DRIVING THE #12 FOR PAUL FRENCH

Anthony Bello has been know for his starts and wins at Stafford Speedway in the SK Modified division along with as a number of Super Late Model races in the southern US. Bello looks to bring years of racing experience to the Paul French owned #12 for the Greatest Tradition in Modified Racing!!!

Saturday, October 24th the Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series invades the Shangri-La Speedway II for its 2026 season finale as part of Race of Champions Weekend.

Rising star "Racing" Mason Hanel will have his family #33 at the Concrete Castle in search of his first silver bowl. Hanel has scored two wins this season with the RoC Sportsman. The first win came at Spencer Speedway on July 31st and most recently at Wyoming County International Speedway on October 3rd. The youngster sits fourth in the series standings heading into RoC Weekend.

The Street Stock/Hobby Stock Challenge and FOAR Score Four Cylinder Dash Series will also be in competition on Saturday.

The 76th Annual Race of Champions 125 takes place Sunday, October 25th at the Shangri-La Speedway II in Tioga Center, NY. It's a full weekend of racing at the Concrete Castle with the RoC Sportsman in town on Saturday the 24th.

Veteran racer Daren Scherer sits sixth in the RoC Modified Series point standings heading into next weekend's finale. A perennial top ten point driver, Scherer holds the all-time series record for consecutive starts with the RoC. The Binghamton, NY native finished ninth in the Rod Spalding Classic at Shangri-La II back on July 12th and is hoping to improve on that next Sunday in the 2026 running of the Greatest Tradition in Modified Racing.

Also on the event schedule are the RoC Super Stocks and the FOAR Score Four Cylinder Dash Series.

The Race of Champions Super Stock Series joins the RoC Modified Series and the FOAR Score Four Cylinder Dash Series at the Shangri-La Speedway II on Sunday, October 18th for the Greatest Tradition in Modified Racing. This will be the second visit of the Super Stocks to the Tioga Center, NY speedplant in 2026.

RoC Super Stock rookie Devin Gullo has proven he belongs in the big cars with the big names. He's gone toe-to-toe with all the best the series has to offer. Mancuso, Dieter, Hallett, Zacharias, Duke, and even his father, multi time series champion, Tim Gullo. He scored a third place finish in the July 12th Shangri-La event before earning his first RoC feature win on July 31st at the Spencer Speedway. The youngster has only gotten better as the season has progressed. Expect to see the kid from Elmira, NY battling for a silver bowl on Sunday.

The Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series wraps up their 2026 season next Saturday, October 17th at the Shangri-La Speedway II in Tioga Center, NY. It will be the third visit of the year to the Concrete Castle with victories going to Nick Morich and Andrew Lewis Jr in the first two events.

Eddie Hawkins thought his season was finished after a hard crash at Spencer Speedway on September 4th. Thanks to Mad Mark’s Welding, Precision Lawn and Garden, Infinite Audio, and GFI, Hawkins will be back in action Saturday at the Concrete Castle for the RoC Sportsman Modified finale. He admittedly struggled to a 14th place finish in the series first visit to Shangri-La II on July 26th, but rebounded and was one of the faster cars in the August 22nd event starting P11 and finishing P6. The Marion, NY driver is hoping the progress continues this Saturday at Race of Champions Weekend.

Sunday, October 18th, the 76th Annual Race of Champions 125 takes place at the Shangri-La Speedway II in Tioga Center, NY. A who's who of Modified racing is going to be in attendance as another chapter gets added to this historic event.

Paulie Hartwig III is quickly making a name for himself. The youngster from Galloway, New Jersey has turned heads this year starting with a convincing win at New Smyrna, FL in February. He added Race of Champions Modified Series victories at Evans Mills and Lancaster and just this past weekend won his first pole with the Whelen Modified Tour at Thompson, CT. Hartwig enters this weekend's RoC finale second in the series standings behind Matt Hirschman searching for his first title and first Al Ge**er Memorial Trophy.

Also on the event schedule are the RoC Super Stocks and the FOAR Score Four Cylinder Dash Series.
