Restoration 22 Sprint car restoration Restoration 22 is the real time update page for the restoration of Harry Culbreath’s last sprint car.

Harry Culbreath and the #22 are etched in the mid-south racing history as an iconic car and owner/innovator/builder. The #22 has seen over 25 drivers take the wheel from the mid 50’s to the last race in 1981. This particular car was built in the winter of 75/76 and first piloted by Sammy Swindell in the spring 1976 and was last driven by Mike Russom in the summer of 1981. This car was also the end of an era for the legendary 22 and Harry Culbreath as it was his last car.
