Tire plugs vs tire patch. The inside patch is a preferred repair but does require more labor. The plug is faster and is better suited for more work tires

This 2015 Silverado 2500 came in for new steering components. At its mileage, it was definitely due. We replaced every worn item and aligned the truck. It now drives straight as an arrow.

Happy Columbus Day! This Mercedes came in needing a new battery and was surprised to find it was located under the drivers seat. We’ve seen them in the trunk and under the door with access panels.

I’m surprised the belt didn’t fall off with this failed tensioner. If your car is making a strange noise, it’s best to get it looked at before it can cause more costly repairs

This 2018 odyssey was having a check engine light on for a cylinder #6 misfire. After diagnostics, we found that the injector was sending too much fuel. Since we were that deep into the motor, we replaced all 6

This beetle convertible came in with no cabin fan. Usually we’ve seen bad motors or failed resistors but this one took a little more digging. The speed selector wasn’t putting any power out to the resistor

This 2017 ram 1500 was having parking brake issues. We have found that the actuators freezing is very common on these trucks. After we clean them, we grease the actuator so it doesn’t lock up again.

Maintenance Monday. This Volvo came in for service work and one of the items was the belt and components. This belt is in a different location than most people would expect and is buried.

This is something you don’t get to see every day. This 1984 Land Rover defender had a leaking rear axle seal so we resealed both sides and put in new wheel bearings since the old ones were contaminated with oil. Fun fact about these defenders is that Land Rover actually lost track of what they built

This brake fluid leak was harder to find than usual. The fluid has been leaking for a while and no signs of a leak were present. After pressuring the system, we found this caliper leaking on the back side. Brake fluid leaks are a serious problem. It takes away the stopping power of the car and in this car, the pedal went all the way to the floor before it started to stop
