So to continue on with my, "this is what it takes to make a new vehicle straight", show and tell...

This is what it has taken to get this bed to what I consider a 90% straight stage. I stopped at 90% cause it's just gonna get repainted again in a few months when I paint the whole truck, and I'll take it all the way then.

Remember... this is a BRAND NEW, unmolested bed.

*edit* and the reason the very front is stripped to metal? Cause there wasn't any clearcoat there so the base was chalky and flaking off so if it can't be trusted it must be removed.

Until I can afford to blow $100k on a laser that can cut 0.25" stainless I'll keep using SendCutSend crazy fast turnaround times, crazy clean cuts, crazy cheap, generally free shipping, fantastic packaging and they give me SOUR PATCH KIDS!!! Keep doing what you're doing guys you're great!

If you ever wondered what it takes to actually make a newer model truck tailgate laser straight well here it is.
Hours of hammer and dolly work and a hotrod skim of bondo to block out.
The factories warp the crap outta these skins by stamping in the body lines, logos, and holes for emblems and handles. ? ? 🤣🤣🤣
